RICHARD CAPTURES 2ND PLACE AT WINTER STORM!
In a competitive field of over a dozen elite international drummers, Richard took second place at the Midwest Highland Arts Fund North American Gold Medal Drumming Championship, held in Kansas City, Kansas. Richard was judged by Drew Duthart, John Fisher, and Barry Wilson. Also earning recognition from Richard's L.A. Scots drum corps: Justin Thrower, 2nd place, grade 1, and Steve Foley, 2nd place, Gold Medal Bass Drumming Championship.

The Harness Attachment will allow the Perfect Practice Pad to be used with the Premiere/XL and Jim Kilpatrick harnesses. Also, two new playing surfaces are available: soft and hard for even greater flexibility when using the Perfect Practice Pad!

L.A. SCOTS SWEEP PLEASANTON GAMES
The L.A. Scots Pipe Band won both days of grade 1 competition at the Pleasanton Highland Games, securing victory in both the MSR and the Medley competitions over Peel Regional Police and Windsor Police Pipe Bands. Richard's drum corps placed 1st in both competitions.

L.A. SCOTS EARN 11th PLACE AT THE WORLD PIPE BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
The L.A. Scots Pipe Band placed 11th at the World Pipe Band Championships, held in Glasgow Scotland. In a fiercely competitive field of 14 grade 1 bands, the L.A. Scots made a great showing under the fantastic leadership of Pipe Major Colin Armstrong and Drum Sergeant Richard Baughman.

DRUM CORPS CAPTURES 1st IN DRUMMING IN WORLD'S QUALIFYING ROUND
Richard Baughman's L.A. Scots Drum Corps took 1st place in the grade 1 qualifying round of the world pipe band championships in Glasgow, Scotland. The L.A. Scots corps bested 13 other bands to earn this 1st place ranking.

DRUM CORPS TAKES 1ST AT NORTH BERWICK, SCOTLAND GAMES
The L.A. Scots Drum Corps, led by Richard Baughman, captured first place in drumming at the North Berwick games in Scotland. The drum corps made a fine showing by topping such fierce competitors as Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia and Alberta Caledonia.
